The Coda Fiddle Orchestra aims to place children and young people with a poverty of opportunity at it’s heart, to raise self-esteem, confidence and aspiration through participating in creative music making and working with high quality, experienced musicians. Since it’s inception in 2004 the project has worked with hundreds of young people, given over 150 performances in a range of venues from the local supermarket to the Royal Festival Hall, helped 12 young players reach Grade 8 Violin standard and seen one scholarship to the Yehudi Menuhin School.
Rowena Lodge 3180 was delighted to have supported the orchestra back in 2019 and will be looking to do so again in the very near future.
